Our Story
At Impact Equitable Justice (IEJI), we believe that true justice requires equity, accountability, and systemic change. Our mission is to advance equitable justice by supporting underserved communities, challenging systemic barriers, and creating sustainable pathways toward fairness and opportunity.
We work to ensure that justice is not just a legal concept, but a lived reality for every individual, regardless of race, income, or background.
Impact Equitable Justice was founded in 2017 by a justice systems advocate who saw firsthand how inequities in our justice system perpetuates cycles of harm. Since our founding, we have focused on three pillars: community empowerment (uplifting the voices of marginalized groups), policy advocacy (advancing reforms that promote fairness and equity), and direct support (connecting individuals and families to resources that protect their rights).
What began as a small grassroots effort has grown into a trusted organization that partners with advocates, communities, nonprofits, and institutions to create meaningful change.

Close the Giving
Gap for Women-Led Change.
Woman-led nonprofits face significant funding disparities compared to other organizations. Since 2017, our woman-led team has partnered with employers, policymakers, and communities to redesign workforce systems so that opportunity is not reserved for a few—but accessible to all.
This year we’ve reimagined everything—from our services to our strategy—to better serve our community and close the gap for good. This reset and rally effort enables us to expand our reach, strengthen our impact, and reintroduce Impact Equitable Justice a force for equity and innovation.
Now we're inviting our community to stand with us and close the giving gap—so that our work to close opportunity gaps can continue to grow.
