Rehabilitation Data Respository
Insights that connect people, policy, and progress
Why It Matters
Justice-impacted individuals face barriers to rebuilding their lives, but the data to understand what works—and what doesn’t—is scattered or inaccessible. With reliable insight, programs go underfunded,
employers miss out on talent, and policies fall short.
Our Solution
Impact Equitable Justice is building a secure, community guided data repository that brings together information on employment, education, training, housing, and reentry outcomes. This repository will:
- Unify data from workforce, reentry, and community programs.
- Protect dignity with strong privacy safeguards and governance led by justice-impacted voices.
- Drive impact by providing actionable insight for policymakers, funders, employers, and advocates.
Who Benefits
Communities: Stronger support reduced recidivism, and more economic mobility.
Employers: Evidence to design fair-chance hiring practices that work.
Policymakers: Clear data to guide smart, equitable investments.
Justice-Impacted People: Their progress and success stories become visible and valued.
Reentry Employment: Florida At A Glance
Research shows that the State of Florida has one of the highest rates of incarceration in the United States. It is estimated that 1.4 million formerly incarcerated individuals will enter the Florida job market. Currently, Florida lacks a coordinated statewide effort to address the overwhelming need of returnees and we are committed to changing that. Our solutions are designed to match the scale of the complex problem.
IEJI evaluates the state's workforce policy landscape and work with state officials and stakeholders to help shape policies and practices that support the socioeconomic advancement of justice-impacted people. Check our blog for the latest reentry employment data.
